Smartedge is Internet-based, where your browser is used as your application. Many different browsers are available, with many versions of each browser.

Screen Resolution

Smartedge is best suited for a screen resolution of at least 1024*768 pixels.

If your screen resolution is less than 1024*768 (e.g. 800*600) we suggest that you use the full screen functionality of your browser. To achieve this, press the F11 key (situated in the top row of your keyboard). You can try this now, to see the difference. You can press F11 again, to get back to normal mode.

For further screen space, you can also close your sidebar (e.g. Favourites in Internet Explorer) to expand the area available to Smartedge .

Smartedge works with any standards compliant browser. Your browser should support the following:

To enjoy a problem free experience with Smartedge you should use the following versions (or higher) of the different browsers:

Browser Problems

The following browsers are known to not work properly with SMARTEDGE.

Opera 7.52 and higher	Problems with printing reports properly. Otherwise OK.
Opera 7.51 and lower	Multiple problems.
Safari any version	Javascript engine does not work properly.

Unknown Browser Status

The following browsers have not been tested properly. They should work fine, however if you experience problems please try one of the tested browsers.
