With Smartedge you get more than just the right to use the software. Since you are not buying or licensing the software, but subscribing, a range of services are included, which you normally would have to do yourself or hire a consultant to do.
Data Monitoring
SMARTEDGE monitors your data 24 hours a day. Backups are done automatically on our servers every night. No more hassle for you to make and store backups. This saves you time and gives you greater peace of mind. Your data is protected in the event of a disaster.
Software Maintenance
Smartedge is completely web-based and you do not have to install any software. All you need is an Internet connection and a web browser. Upgrades are done automatically by us, ensuring that you are always using the latest version.
Support
Smartedge is committed to full service and support to all of our customers. For every task you need to do there is an extensive help section. Most problems are easily sorted out by looking through the comprehensive help section. For any further problems, online support is available to you.
Support is accessed directly from the Support menu. You fill in the form with your question and send it to us. We do our best to answer you within the same business day. You can also send us an email at any time, if you have any questions regarding the use of SMARTEDGE. Telephone support is available during business hours.
Our support consultants are available from 8am to 4pm every business day. Support consultants observe South African Public Holidays. Your access to SMARTEDGE is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
To keep software subscription fees as low as possible, SMARTEDGE does not include support services in the software fees. Since different customers have different support needs, we believe that it is most fair that users actually using support pay for the support. Support is therefore a chargable service.
